The shortest path from a fresh download to your first real diagnosis. Follow it in order.

The download filename and exact docker load command come from the release build. The rest of this path is confirmed against the source.
Before you start
You need a machine that runs Docker and meets the system requirements. If you plan to run the private local model, check the memory and disk numbers on that page first.
The path
- Download. Open the link in your purchase email and download the PathWise image. See Installation.
- Load and start. Load the image into Docker and start it. Exact commands live on the Installation page.
- Activate your license. Apply the license from your email so the engine unlocks.
- Choose a reasoning model. Connect a frontier model with your own key, or run a private local model. A fresh install starts on the Anthropic Claude preset and waits for a key. See the reasoning engine.
- Run the self-test. Confirm the engine can reach the network and the model answers. See Your first diagnosis.
- Run your first investigation. Give it a real problem and read the diagnosis.
