PathWise is an independent product from Silo7. No venture money, no roadmap by committee, no hosted black box. One person builds it, and you run it yourself.

Who built it.

Mike Hancock builds PathWise. He spent years watching access tickets bounce between teams while everyone guessed at the broken layer. The fix was almost always boring once someone found it. The finding was the hard part.

So PathWise does the finding. It walks the access path, reads your evidence, and names the layer that is failing, with the proof attached. It never changes anything on your systems. A person still decides and acts.

The honest deal.

Open standard

The Open Module Standard is free and public. Read it, and write your own modules for your own tools. No payment, no permission.

One-time engine

The engine is the paid core. $349, paid once. No subscription, ever. Your copy is watermarked to you, and the license check is soft, so it never blocks you, even fully offline.

You run it

PathWise ships as a runnable skeleton anyone with the right permissions wires into your environment, with your own model backend. One technical setup, then the whole team uses it. It is not a hosted service.

Here is the deal in plain language. The full terms ship with your purchase and at checkout. If the two ever disagree, the full terms win.

One organizationYour purchase covers use inside one company or organization.
PerpetualBuy once, run it forever. There is no subscription and no renewal.
Bring your own modelPathWise reasons with an AI model and key you provide. You pick the backend.
Run it anywhereRun it on your own infrastructure, on your own network. It needs outbound access to your AI provider and for the probes.
No modificationsRun the engine as shipped. Do not modify it, reverse engineer it, or build a derivative work from its code. Extend it by writing modules, which the open standard is built for.
No resaleDo not repackage, resell, or redistribute the engine, in whole or in part, modified or not. The free standard is yours to build on, the engine is not yours to sell.
As-isThe software is provided as-is, with no warranty. You judge every answer before you act on it.

Support.

Support is email, best-effort. There is no warranty and no direct support, no phone, chat, or screen-share. Email what broke, what you ran, and what you saw, and Mike replies when he can. The engine never acts on your systems, so most questions are about setup or reading an answer, not an outage.
