What you are buying, plainly.

PathWise is a runnable skeleton, not a hosted service. Anyone with the right permissions stands it up in your environment and points it at your own model backend. Modules can read data you export and drop in, so there are no vendor credentials to wire up before your first investigation. Connect a vendor API later, when you want to. One technical setup, then everyone your license covers uses it. It runs in your own environment.

The model is a quality dial you set. Strong multi-step reasoning wants a capable model on real hardware. The safety holds whatever model you run.

The Open Module Standard is public, and you never pay to use it. Write a module for any tool you run, keep it, and change it, without asking us and without a fee. A module you write costs nothing and occupies a slot on the same terms as one of ours. The engine is the one thing you subscribe to, and the nine modules we publish ship inside it.

What is the difference between Solo and Team?

License scope, not features. The software is identical. Solo is licensed for one engineer on one machine, and signs in one user. Team is licensed to one organization and covers four user accounts, with more sold in 3-packs. Both include all 11 bundled tools and 12 module slots.

What does the subscription cover?

New modules, new versions, and support for the year, at $399 a year for Solo or $1,299 a year for Team. Docs, Discord, and email support are free for everyone. What do I need to run it?

An Anthropic API key or an OpenAI-compatible backend, including a local model, Docker to run the image, and outbound network access for the network probes.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Stripe, our merchant of record, and the terms are shown at checkout.

Do I get updates?

Yes. New modules and new versions, including a future major version like a v2, are part of the subscription. If a subscription lapses, past reports stay readable and running investigations finish. After a 30-day grace, the engine stops taking new investigations.

Can my whole team use it?

That is what the Team license is for. One person with the right permissions stands it up, then help desk, IT ops, and developers all use the same instance. A Solo license is for one engineer on one machine.

Is my data safe?

Your data stays under your control. It runs on your hardware. Your model does the reasoning, so in the Anthropic mode your investigation data goes to your AI provider over your own key. Run a local model to keep everything inside your boundary. A managed in-tenant cloud placement is planned.
