Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 11, 2026

These terms cover your purchase and use of PathWise. Please read them before you buy. By buying or using PathWise, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

PathWise is sold by Mike Hancock, doing business as Silo7 ("Silo7", "we", "us"), based in Alabama, United States. You can reach us at hello@silo7.app.

2. Who sells you the order

We sell PathWise through Stripe, our merchant of record. Stripe handles the checkout, payment, and tax, and is the seller of record on your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to the Stripe terms shown at checkout, and Stripe's legal pages live at stripe.com/legal. For billing questions, email us at hello@silo7.app with your order number and we will work with Stripe on your order.

3. What you get

PathWise is network diagnostics software, sold as an annual subscription, $399 a year for Solo or $1,299 a year for Team. Your subscription includes the engine, delivered as a Docker image, all 11 bundled diagnostic tools, the command-line tool, the built-in network probes, and support for the year. A Solo license covers one engineer on one machine. A Team license is granted to one organization and covers four user accounts, with additional seats sold in 3-packs. You run it on your own machines and point it at your own AI model and key. PathWise is advisory. It reads and reasons, then returns an answer with evidence. You judge that answer before you act on it. PathWise never changes anything in your environment.

4. Your license

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license, for the term of your subscription, to install, run, and modify PathWise for internal use. A Solo license covers one engineer on one machine. A Team license is granted to one company or organization, for that organization's own internal use, and covers four user accounts. Additional seats are sold in 3-packs. The engine enforces the licensed account count. You may create derivative works for your own internal use. The subscription is billed annually, and it covers new modules and new major versions, such as a future v2. Your past reports stay readable at any time. If your subscription lapses, any investigation already running finishes, and after a 30-day grace period the engine stops starting new investigations until you renew. A full commercial license file ships with your subscription. If that file and this page ever disagree, the license file wins.

5. What you may not do

  • Sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the engine, in whole or in part, modified or not.
  • Offer the engine to third parties as a hosted or managed service.
  • Use the engine, or any derivative of it, to build or offer a product or service that competes with PathWise to third parties. Internal modification for your own organization is fine, and you can extend PathWise by writing modules, which the free Open Module Standard is built for.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any license file, notice, watermark, or buyer identifier delivered with the engine.
  • Use PathWise in violation of any law that applies to you.

The Open Module Standard and any modules you write are yours to use and are not restricted by these terms. This license covers the engine.

6. No warranty

PathWise is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You are responsible for deciding whether PathWise fits your environment, and for reviewing every answer it gives before you act on it.

7. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, that arise from or relate to PathWise. Our total liability to you under these terms will not be more than the amount you paid for your order.

8. Help

Help is by email only, at hello@silo7.app, on a best-effort basis. We do not promise a response time, an uptime, or any fix. There is no phone line and no on-site visit.

9. Refunds

Our refund terms are on the Refund Policy page. Stripe processes refunds as our merchant of record.

10. Privacy

How we and Stripe handle your data is set out on the Privacy Policy page.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. The terms that applied at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms go to hello@silo7.app.
